Telfer Village/Workshops Upgrade – Western Australia

WAY Electrical was contracted to undertake a number of new installations associated with the Telfer Gold Mine Village and Plant Mining Services infrastructure at the Telfer Gold Mine Project located 500km East of Port Hedland in the North West of Western Australia.

Works included an additional 314 rooms to the accommodation village, fuel farm for the mining services contractor, heavy vehicle workshop, dig fleet workshop and drill bit storage/workshop buildings.

The scope of the electrical works included supply and installation of HV/LV kiosks, building lighting and small power requirements, underground conduit networks for power and communications cables, installation and termination of all HV, LV and communications cables and mounting of associated equipment.
